Is PC Tasks Optimizer safe to use?

Yes, PC Tasks Optimizer is safe to use. It automatically backs up your scheduled tasks configuration (this option is enabled by default). If anything goes wrong after optimization, you can use the backups created by PC Tasks Optimizer to restore your previous scheduled task configurations.

You can use options under the Backup & Restore menu to create and restore backups of your scheduled tasks configuration.

What languages does PC Tasks Optimizer support?

Currently, the user interface of PC Tasks Optimizer supports the following languages: English, Arabic, German, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, and Chinese.

To change the user interface language, simply select your preferred language from the Language drop-down list in the status bar.

Which Windows versions does PC Tasks Optimizer work with?

You can use PC Tasks Optimizer on Microsoft Windows 11, 10, 8.1, and 7 including both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. The Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 and later is required to run PC Tasks Optimizer with best performance and reliability.

How to update PC Tasks Optimizer to the latest version?

We highly recommend using the latest version of PC Tasks Optimizer, as we regularly introduce new features and fix known issues.

When a new version of PC Tasks Optimizer becomes available, you will receive a notification prompting you to download it from our website. Additionally, you can manually check for updates by selecting the Check for Updates option in the main menu.

How to report issues and get help with PC Tasks Optimizer?

How to uninstall PC Tasks Optimizer?
Windows 8/8.1
  1. Right-click in the lower-left corner of your screen, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click on Programs, select Uninstall a program.
  3. Click on PC Tasks Optimizer in the list of installed programs and select Uninstall.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Tasks Optimizer from your computer.
Windows 10
  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. In the right pane, click on Apps and Features and then scroll through the installed apps to locate PC Tasks Optimizer. You can also use the search bar to find the software.
  4. Select PC Tasks Optimizer from the list, then click the Uninstall button.
  5. Click the Uninstall button again to confirm the action.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Tasks Optimizer from your computer.
Windows 11
  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. In the left pane, open the Apps tab.
