Right-Click Uninstall is a handy system utility that lets you uninstall Windows programs directly from the context menu of their shortcuts. With Right-Click Uninstall, you can easily remove unwanted programs without using the Add/Remove Programs feature or any third-party tool.

Right-Click Uninstall has been updated to allow the uninstallation of both traditional Desktop apps and Microsoft Store apps directly from their shortcuts placed on the Desktop.

Uninstalling programs in Microsoft Windows is now simpler and safer with Right-Click Uninstall. This utility is free from malware and adware, has a digital signature, and does not require administrative privileges.

You can use Right-Click Uninstall on Microsoft Windows 11, 10, and 8.1 including both 32-bit and 64-bit editions. The Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 and later is required to run Right-Click Uninstall with best performance and reliability.

The user interface of Right-Click Uninstall currently supports the following localization: English, French, German, Spanish, and Simplified Chinese.

Right-Click Uninstall is a lightweight and portable application that doesn't require installation. You can start using the app by downloading it from this page and extracting the downloaded zip file.

After extracting the Right-Click Uninstall zip file, open the folder containing the app files and launch the application by running RightClickUninstall.exe. This bootstrap automatically starts the appropriate executables for the target operating system.

When you launch Right-Click Uninstall for the first time, you will need to complete two simple tasks to begin using the app for uninstalling programs from the context menu.

The first task is to allow Right-Click Uninstall to scan your installed programs and cache this information so that the app can instantly associate shortcuts with installed programs. To retrieve and cache installed programs information, click on the Scan installed programs link. The process may take some time, depending on the number of installed programs, and it requires administrative privileges.

Once the installed programs have been scanned, you will need to add the uninstall command to the app's context menu by clicking on Add the Uninstall with Right Click Uninstall option to the context menu. Please note that Right-Click Uninstall will request administrative privileges to perform this action.

To uninstall a program using Right-Click Uninstall, follow these steps:

1. Locate the program's shortcut on the Desktop or any other location.
2. Right-click on the program's shortcut and select Show more options from the context menu.
3. From the classic context menu, click on Uninstall with Right-Click Uninstall; this will open the program uninstall confirmation dialog box, which displays the program information, such as size and installation date.
4. Click on the Uninstall button to initiate the program uninstallation process.

To uninstall a program using Right-Click Uninstall, follow the steps below:

1. Locate the program's shortcut on the Desktop or any other location.
2. Right-click on the program's shortcut and select Uninstall with Right-Click Uninstall from the context menu.
3. This will open the program uninstall confirmation dialog box, which displays the program information, such as size and installation date.
4. Click on the Uninstall button to initiate the program uninstallation process.

Sometimes, when you try to use Right-Click Uninstall to remove a program, it may fail to identify the associated program for the app shortcut. This can happen for a few reasons:

• The shortcut isn't associated with any installed program (it might be a portable program).
• The shortcut is associated with a newly installed program that Right-Click Uninstall doesn't have information for yet. In this case, enabling Right-Click Uninstall to periodically refresh the program's cache may help.
• The shortcut is associated with an installed program that doesn't provide the required information for Right-Click Uninstall to identify the program's installation files.
