DirectAccess is a feature that allows remote users to securely access internal network resources over the Internet, without connecting to a virtual private network (VPN). The NcaSvc service is used to view the current connection status and to gather detailed information that is helpful for troubleshooting failed DirectAccess connections.
The NcaSvc service is not essential and can be disabled if not needed. However, if you use DirectAccess, you may want to keep the service running.
