Is PC Services Optimizer safe to use?

PC Services Optimizer is a safe solution to use. It has a Rescue Center feature that can revert any changes made by PC Services Optimizer and other software to your Windows services configuration. Moreover, PC Services Optimizer can create system restore points before optimizing Windows services.

What are the requirements to run PC Services Optimizer?

The requirements for running PC Services Optimizer are as follows:

Does PC Services Optimizer support Microsoft Windows XP?

PC Services Optimizer does not support Microsoft Windows XP. This is because Windows XP has a different Windows services configuration from Windows Vista and later versions.

What languages does PC Services Optimizer support?

Currently, PC Services Optimizer supports these languages: English, French, German, Spanish, and Turkish.

Is PC Services Optimizer compatible with anti-virus solutions?

PC Services Optimizer is compatible with major anti-virus and security products, including the default Windows security app. However, in some cases, your anti-virus software may prevent PC Services Optimizer from configuring and optimizing Windows services configuration correctly. Therefore, it is highly recommended to add PC Services Optimizer to your anti-virus exclusions.

I have purchased a PC Services Optimizer Pro license but I have not received the license code. How can I resolve this issue?

If you do not receive the license code, the possible reasons are:

  1. You entered an incorrect email address when you ordered the software.
  2. Your order is incomplete.

Why do I get the error message "License key is invalid"?

The possible reasons are:

  1. You entered an incorrect license code. Please COPY & PASTE your license code to avoid any typos.
  2. You used a license code for a different program to register PC Services Optimizer Pro. Please ensure that you use the correct license code.

If you still encounter this error, please contact us to help you resolve this issue.

Why do I get the error message "License information does not match this computer"?

The reason is that you have already registered PC Services Optimizer Pro using the same license code on a different computer from the one you are trying to activate the software on.

Please note that a single license code of PC Services Optimizer Pro only supports 1 PC. If you want to use PC Services Optimizer Pro on multiple PCs, you may consider purchasing additional licenses at a discounted price.

I have upgraded my computer`s hardware and PC Services Optimizer Pro stopped to work, what to do?

PC Services Optimizer Pro uses specific system information and hardware configuration to create a digital ID for your computer. This is to protect against software piracy and prevent unauthorized use of our software. If you change or upgrade one or more of your computer’s hardware, PC Services Optimizer Pro may stop working as the license becomes invalid due to changes in your computer’s ID.

To resolve this issue, please use this form to reset your license information and register the software license again.

Why do I get the error message "User name is invalid"?

This error occurs when you try to re-activate PC Services Optimizer Pro with a username that differs from the username you used to register the software for the first time.

I lost my license code, how can I recover it?

Please use the Recover License Code form and the email address you used to register PC Services Optimizer Pro to help retrieve the license code.

I have purchased PC Services Optimizer Pro but I do not know where to enter my license code?

For PC Services Optimizer versions before v4.0, we provided separate installers for each PC Services Optimizer edition. To activate your license, you need to download and install the PC Services Optimizer Pro edition using the download link in the order confirmation email.

For PC Services Optimizer v4.0 and later, there is only one installer for all of the software editions. To activate your license, launch the software and click the Register button in the lower right corner of the PC Services Optimizer’s interface. This will open the Register License dialog box where you can enter your license code to activate the software.

Should I uninstall PC Services Optimizer Free before upgrading to the Pro edition?

You do not have to uninstall PC Services Optimizer Free manually before installing the Pro edition, as the installer of PC Services Optimizer Pro will automatically upgrade the Free edition preserving your preferences and settings.

How long is the service time of a PC Services Optimizer Pro license?

The service time of a PC Services Optimizer Pro license is one year, and it starts from the time the license is purchased. To continue to use the software, you will need to renew your license subscription.

How do I renew my license subscription?

You may consider renewing your PC Services Optimizer Pro license subscription to continue using the software.

As a valued customer, you are eligible for renewal discounts. Please use this form to renew your license. Upon renewal, your license subscription will be extended for another 12 months, and you will retain your current license code.

How many computers does a PC Services Optimizer Pro license cover?

Each PC Services Optimizer Pro license code is valid for one PC only. However, you can acquire additional licenses at a reduced price.

How to get the latest version of PC Services Optimizer?

We strongly advise you to use the most recent version of PC Services Optimizer as we regularly introduce new features and fix known issues.

You will receive a notification to download the new release from our website when a new version of PC Services Optimizer is available. Alternatively, you can visit the PC Services Optimizer download page to obtain the latest version.

PC Services Optimizer Pro customers with an active license subscription will have access to high priority updates directly via the software itself.

How can I get the invoice for my order?

Please log in to the myAccount on 2Checkout with the email address used to purchase PC Services Optimizer Pro. Under the myAccount tab, you will see the Invoice BV link for each order. You can click the link to download the Invoice.

Note: Invoice is not available instantly; it may take up to 24 hours to be generated after the order is finished.

How to uninstall PC Services Optimizer?

Windows Vista/7

  1. From the Start Menu, select Control Panel.
  2. Under Programs click the Uninstall a Program link.
  3. Select PC Services Optimizer and right-click then select Uninstall.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Services Optimizer from your computer.

Windows 8/8.1

  1. Right-click in the lower-left corner of your screen, and then click Control Panel.
  2. Click on Programs, select Uninstall a program.
  3. Click on PC Services Optimizer in the list of installed programs and select Uninstall.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Services Optimizer from your computer.

Windows 10

  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. Select Apps.
  3. In the right pane, click on Apps and Features and then scroll through the installed apps to locate PC Services Optimizer. You can also use the search bar to find the software.
  4. Select PC Services Optimizer from the list, then click the Uninstall button.
  5. Click the Uninstall button again to confirm the action.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Services Optimizer from your computer.

Windows 11

  1. Press Win + I to open Settings.
  2. In the left pane, open the Apps tab.
  3. In the right pane, click on Apps and Features and then scroll through the installed apps to locate PC Services Optimizer. You can also use the search bar to find the software.
  4. Click the three dots button beside PC Services Optimizer and select Uninstall.
  5. Click the Uninstall button again to confirm the action.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to uninstall PC Services Optimizer from your computer.
