We at Smart PC Utilities have decided to change the name of the FREE open source Windows optimization solution Vista Services Optimizer<\/a> to become PC Services Optimizer<\/strong> to reflect the fact that the software is fully compatible with Microsoft Windows 7 and 8 beside Vista.<\/p>\n

The name of Vista Services Optimizer<\/a> was misleading to many users that the software is intended only for Microsoft Windows Vista, however the software provides full support to Windows 7 and 8.<\/p>\n

PC Services Optimizer<\/strong> is expected to be released early in January 2014, the upcoming release of the open source software will have support for Microsoft Windows 8.1, support for high DPI resolutions and minor enhancements and bug fixes.<\/p>\n

Vista Services Optimizer is an open source system tweaking software that enables you to optimize Windows services in an easy, automatic and safe way based on the way you use your computer.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
